Hello reader

WACANupdate is pleased to announce that we are joined by Elizabeth Gordon, who will write original feature stories for us. With Elizabeth's help, we anticipate bringing reports of activities and events in the white anti-racist community. See her first story on CURE immediately below.

White reparationists open new website
There are some arguments of substance against the case for black reparations. Then there are the inflatable-lawn-ornament-in-a-gale type arguments, such as "they all want something for nothing," which can be knocked over by the simple fact of a handful of white reparationists. More...

How your friends can receive the WACANupdate
Please do not send us email saying "Put me on your list." Right now the only way to get on our list is to register at www.wacan.org, or go directly to www.wacan.org/beliefs1.asp, and follow the prompts from there. You can do this all on your own, but it might take 5 minutes. In the future we may re-work our approach, but for now, that's how.

White Anti-racist Summit
The summit is sold out. Sixty-four people have registered. We'll try to bring you news of the summit and the White Privilege Conference in the next WACANupdate.
