| The North Carolina Democratic Party has apologized for its role in the 1898 Wilmington riot when white supremacists violently overthrew the Republican city government, terrorized and murdered the African American populace, and installed Democrats in power. Good, but not enough say members of the Wilmington Race Riot Commission, whose report recommends 15 actions to redress this historic wrong. | ||||||||||||||||||

| The Sun-Sentinel of Ft. Lauderdale, FL has let its readers speak, and many spew old style racist garbage. A story on a white supremacist arrested for child porn has generated a lot of online comments from fellow white supremacists and those who oppose them. Two white supremacists have been convicted of 6 murders. This follows conviction of four others in July. Racism is growing in Europe, some say. So, too, is anti-Semitism. The first rabbi ordained in Germany since the Holocaust is afraid to wear his skull cap in public. | ||||||||||||||||||

| What's a historically white mainline religious denomination to do? The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America has over 4 million members, 97% of whom are white. Recently they convened an African Descent Young Adult Consultation to obtain advice from within their ranks. Additional story. In case you haven't heard already, AR-15's own Jus Rhyme is on national TV (Mondays at 10PM on VH1 in the New York area; check local listings) as one of 10 aspiring artists on the White Rapper Show. Jus has made it through the first 3 episodes where 1 rapper per week is eliminated, per the usual reality show format. This week he managed to slip in some socially conscious lyrics in the barbershop setting, but the producers seem to be featuring other rappers more than Jus. Could they be saving the best for last? And isn't that an AR-15 lyric they show as the program breaks to commercials? Jus has gotten some press. See his submission video for the show. | ||||||||||||||||||
