Struggling for Direction: White Anti-racist Practice and Accountability

WACAN awakens!

How to say our name
Last year's polls proved there are several ways to pronounce "WACAN." Well, we settled it. "WACAN" rhymes with "awaken," as in "WACAN awakens!" It also rhymes with "bacon." If you drop the final "g," it rhymes with a lot of things, like "makin'," "breakin'," and "rakin', and maybe "fakin'," though we're on the level. We like the idea of awakening. So, remember...WACAN awakens!
