The WACANupdate welcomes letters on topics of interest to the white anti-racist community. Letters should not exceed 300 words. The editor reserves the right to edit longer letters for length, or publish them in full.

Letter writers must disclose their names. If letter writers include contact information, such as in an email signature section, the editor assumes it is available for publication unless otherwise indicated in your letter. Unless otherwise indicated, the editor assumes any email sent to news@wacan.org is available for publication, however, if in doubt, the editor reserves the right to decline publication.

Letter writers should include the words “letter to the editor” or “for publication” in the subject line.

Letters sent to multiple addresses, or sent to an undisclosed list of recipients will not be considered for publication. Please address your letter to the editor of the WACANupdate.

We welcome letters that announce events, websites, organizations, and other items of interest to the white anti-racist community. Although such letters have a self-promotional quality, we believe the information can be of value to our readership.

The editor reserves the right to publish or not publish any letter.
